Spring Training

Spring Training Program

Take the Field Spring Training offers a 3-week program beginning in April for ages 9-14.  This comprehensive program is designed to give your athlete the tools, instruction, and hands-on experience needed to elevate their game heading into the new season. Focusing on both offensive and defensive skills during Spring Training is key to ensuring that players feel confident in all aspects of the game when the season kicks off. The balance between the two helps players develop well-rounded abilities, setting them up for success.

Spring Training Program Highlights:

  • 2 practices per week focused on in-game situations, position specific skills, and competition.
  • Rapsodo analysis with strike zone awareness and spray charts to show each hitter's strength and weakness but also pitch location, design, and speed for our pitcher competing against them. Click here to learn about Rapsodo
  • 5 hours of team defense/ skills instruction to strengthen defense and overall defensive awareness.
  • 20 live at-bats minimum, plus pitching reps, to create a competitive environment.
  • Competitive results measured to track progress and growth.
  • Dome or Outdoor practices (weather permitting), ensuring a versatile training environment.
  • No travel required!

This is a unique opportunity to train with the entire Take the Field staff in a dynamic and supportive environment with athletes who share the same passion for the game.
