Pitching

Pitching Program

Our pitching program is designed to mold your athlete into a better pitcher by focusing on mechanics, explosive movements, and other important qualities to allow each athlete to perform at their best and be ready for Day 1 of their upcoming season.

Our 14-week Pitching Program is divided into 2 phases.  The first phase is 10-weeks and will focus on Arm Care, Building Arm Strength and Mechanical Breakdown and Analysis.  The second phase is 4-weeks and continues the focus of phase 1, with the addition of our pitchers throwing bullpens against hitters for live at bats. This will allow our pitchers to see all their hard work put into action as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Our pitching program will:

  • IMG_1398

Establish a pre-throw and post-throw routine and schedule

  • IMG_1398

Focus on proper mechanics to increase consistency and strike percentage

  • IMG_1398

Develop and enhance functional movement patterns to increase strength and stability to help increase velocity and prevent injury

There will be Rapsodo readings throughout the program to follow the growth of each athlete up until the end.  The readings will capture mph, run/depth of pitches and spin rate and will track the overall progression of each athlete.  See below for an introduction to Rapsodo Pitching 2.0.
