Corey has coached youth athletics for 18 years. This experience ranges from youth and middle school basketball to collegiate roller hockey to all levels of baseball. Corey is an instructor at the Rhode Island Baseball Institute. He has won state championships at both the Junior Varsity and Freshman levels of baseball. In 2012-2013, he was named a co-recipient of the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association Coach of the Year Award. At each stop his teams have achieved success not only on the field, but also in player and personal development. Corey specialized in player development specifically with pitchers. Over the course of his coaching career, he has helped develop a number of All-Division and All-State players, with many more going on to have successful college careers. He is a lifelong student of the game of baseball. He has attended the American Baseball Coaches Association Annual Convention (ABCA) in 2019 (Dallas) and 2020 (Nashville). He is a member of the ABCA and Massachusetts Baseball Coaches Association (MBCA).
